Charles J. Turner

Charles J. "Sonny" Turner, 78, of Sunrise Beach, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2015, at his home. Survivors include: his wife, Janice; his daughters, Linda Curd (Ron), Darla Mondragon; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; his sisters, Loretta Yingst, Deloris Brewer; and many other relatives and friends. A celebration of Charles' life will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 1, at the Sunrise Beach First Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m., Wednesday, at the church. Inurnment will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction and care of the Kidwell-Garber Laurie/Sunrise Beach Chapel.
