Walter Joseph Davis

Walter "Wally" Joseph Davis, 64, of Holts Summit, Mo., passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2015, at Riverdell Care Center, Boonville, Mo. Wally was born on August 19, 1950, in Jefferson City, Mo., the son of Richard Joseph and Phyllis Jean (Loethen) Davis. Wally was an over-the-road truck driver. He was a renowned hunter and fisherman. Wally was known as kind-hearted to all he met and made a friend of everyone. Wally was well loved by many. He is survived by his siblings, Tom Davis of Jefferson City, Mo., Ron Davis of Holts Summit, Mo., Dan Davis of Holts Summit, Mo. and Becky Luechenotte of High Point, Mo.; nine nieces and nephews and 13 great-nieces and nephews who all loved Uncle Wally. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be on Thursday, July 30, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Debo Funeral Home, 10920 Old U.S. Highway 54, Holts Summit, Missouri under the direction of Thacher Funeral Home, 629 East Morgan Street, Boonville, Missouri. Memorial Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 31, 2015 at Debo Funeral Home. Please donate memorial funds to Hospice or Riverdell Care Center in Booneville, Mo.
