Evelyn Mary Weider

Evelyn Mary Weider, 77, of Centertown, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2015, at Jefferson City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born March 23, 1938, in Rich Fountain, the daughter of Henry and Regina (Luebbert) Bock, both of whom preceded her in death. On November 13, 1955, she was united in marriage to Theodore Bernard Weider in St. Louis. He preceded her in death on July 18, 2002. Evelyn was active in Annunciation Catholic Church in California until she became disabled. She worked for ABB, was a member of the Strickland Club of Hayden and enjoyed sewing, quilting, fishing, traveling and spending time with her family. She is survived by her four children: Kenneth (Joyce) Weider and Tim (Sheila) Weider, both of Centertown, Debbie (Bill) Nevins of Minnetonka, Minn., and Teresa (Dean) Farris of California; two sisters: Elsie (Tom) Grellner of Rich Fountain and Katherine (Paul) Knoch of Gulf Shores, Ala.; 13 grandchildren: Kelly Tucker, Julie Abbett, Kayla Porter, Greg Nevins, Ryan Nevins, Alec Schroer, Courtney Farris, Amy Farris, Clayton Farris, Marsha Murphy, Matt Farris, Harley Smith and Dallas Smith; and two great-grandchildren: Rylee Tucker and Eli Abbett. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 with a prayer service at 4:30 p.m. at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors. Graveside service will be held Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Resurrection Mausoleum. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
