Brenda Kae Hunt

Brenda Kae Hunt, 53, of Jefferson City, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at her home. She was born March 3, 1962, in Knoxville, Iowa, a daughter of Theodore "Ted" A. and Cathryn Darlene (Brundage) Hunt. She was a 1980 graduate of Jefferson City High School and attended Columbia College. Brenda was a Night Auditor at Days Inn. She liked to collect cookbooks and was a wonderful cook. She was very artsy and loved crafts. Brenda's favorite thing to do was spend time with her nieces, Toni and Emily. Brenda is survived by her parents: Ted and Darlene Hunt of Jefferson City; one brother: Kenny Hunt (wife Sherry) of Jefferson City; two nieces: Toni Sneller (husband Dustin) of Jefferson City, and Emily Hunt of Jefferson City; two great-nieces; and one great-nephew. Friends will be received from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Sunday, July 5, 2015, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, July 5, 2015, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home, with Rev. Lisa Duetsch officiating. Interment will follow in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.
