Lucille Barbara Fowler

Lucille Barbara Fowler, 93, of Jamestown, Mo., passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2015, at the California Care Center in California, Mo. She was born in Burrton, Kan., on September 21, 1921, to Albert and Mary (Ewert) Auernheimer both of who preceded her in death. Lucille was united in marriage on September 22, 1939, to John Shelby Fowler who preceded her in death on November 11, 1996. Lucille was a homemaker, worked for the Corpus Christi Schools, Civil Service of Corpus Christi and was a real estate agent in Corpus Christi. She was a member of the Jamestown Baptist Church and enjoyed riding motorcycles. Survivors include: nine children, Barbara Susan (Fowler) Smith (Philip), Merrimack, N.H., William Shelby Fowler (Annette) of Jamestown, Shelley (Fowler) Krumnow of Corpus Christi, Texas, Rosemary (Fowler) Loveday of Anchorage, Alaska, Timothy Fowler (Diane) of Jamestown, David Wesley Fowler (Betty) of Jamestown, Sarah (Fowler) Miller of Houston, Texas, Sam Stephen Fowler (Michelle) of Corpus Christi, Texas and James Fowler (Beverly) of San Angelo, Texas; one brother, Edgar Aurenheimer of Newton, Kan.; 24 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: one sister; three brothers; and one granddaughter. Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. at the funeral home on Sunday, February 1, 2015. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 2, 2015, at the Jamestown Baptist Church. Officiating will be Pastor Charles Leezy. Burial will be at the Hickam Cemetery near Lupus, Mo. Memorials are suggested to Voice of Martyrs or Holy Land Missions and Jamestown Baptist Church c/o the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of the Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California, Mo.
