JoAnn Mazurek

JoAnn Mazurek, 73, of Holts Summit, passed away Sunday, January 25, 2015, at her home, with her family by her side. She was born June 17, 1941, in St. Louis, Missouri, daughter of the late Walter and Annamarie (Sadler) Lerch. On October 24, 1959, JoAnn was united in marriage in St. Louis, Missouri, to John R. Mazurek, who survives at their home. She was a graduate of St. Mary's College in O'Fallon, Missouri, where she earned her nursing degree. JoAnn was a Registered Nurse and worked in home healthcare for a number of years. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. Along with her husband John, JoAnn is also survived by two sons: John R. Mazurek Jr. of Crocker, Mo.; David Mazurek of Holts Summit, Mo.; six grandchildren: John D. Mazurek, Michel Mazurek, Bryon Mazurek, Trena Mazurek, Tyler Mazurek, Nicole Mazurek; and two great-grandchildren: Journey and Darren. Funeral arrangements are private for the family.
