Theresa Smith-Rosenborough

Theresa Smith-Rosenborough, 62, of Jefferson City, Mo., passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2014, at her home. She was born in Hannibal, Mo. on December 11, 1952, the daughter of William Franklin Smith and Ellen Florence (Simon) Smith who preceded her in death. Theresa was a member of the Air Force for 9 years before she joined, then retired from the Air National Guard after 13 years. She was very charitable to a variety of organizations including the military Disabled American Veterans and Wounded Warrior Project. She is survived by her brother, James Earl and his wife Pat Smith of Minnesota; her brother, Glen Michael and his wife Betty Smith of South Carolina; her brother, Gayland and his wife Karen Smith of Jefferson City; her sister, Ellen Smithallen and her husband Darryl of O'Fallon, Missouri; her brother, Geoff Smith of Kansas City, Mo.; her sister, Marva Smith of Jefferson City; and her brother, Tony and his wife Barbara Smith of Virginia. She is survived by her children, Sonia Smith and her wife Tabitha of Texas; her son, Leslie Smith of Jefferson City; her daughter, Yolanda Smith of Jefferson City and her son, Derrick and his wife Denise Smith of Jefferson City. She has five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ellen (2005); her father, William (2014); her brother, Melvin; her brother, Larry and her brother ,Billy Joe.
