Paul Edward Bange

Paul Edward Bange, 70, of Jefferson City, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2015, at University Hospital in Columbia. He was born October 23, 1945, in Louisiana, Missouri, the son of the late Edward Isadore and Marcella Susan (Pohlen) Bange. Paul was united in marriage on October 25, 1969, in Columbia, Mo., to Linda Sue Plummer, who survives at the home. Paul was a caregiver of the land as a farmer. He raised livestock and tended to crop fields. In his earlier years, Paul had worked for McDonald Douglas for 14 years. He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Jefferson City. He was a former member of the St. Clement Catholic Church in Bowling Green where he was a 3rd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council 1928. Survivors include his wife, Linda Bange, Jefferson City; six children, Mary Beth (Stephen) Chismarich, Ellisville, Mo.; Sarah (Vince) Kozul, Lakeland, Fla.; David (Julie) Bange, Jefferson City; Stephen (Jen) Bange, Keystone, Iowa; Matthew (Katie) Bange, St. Charles, Mo.; Susan Ivanowski, Ellisville, Mo.; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and four siblings, Bea (Harold) Schmit, Hospers, Iowa; Louise Spresterbach, Eureka, Mo.; Dennis (Betty) Bange, O'Fallon, Mo.; and Mary Ann Bange, Jefferson City. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Loretta Jurotich; and a brother, Gregory Bange. Visitation will be 2:30-5 p.m. Sunday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 2 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Monday, December 7, 2015, at St. Peter Catholic Church with the Rev. John J. Schmitz officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Heifer International, St. Vincent de Paul Society, Cross Catholic Outreach, EHS Alumni Association, or to Camp Quality Central Missouri.
