Nancy Ann Jaegers

Nancy Ann Jaegers, age 77, of Linn, passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2015, at the Linn Living and Rehab Center in Linn. Nancy was born on August 11, 1938, in Linn, a daughter to the late Stephen and Gertrude (Hertzing) Zeilmann. Nancy attended school at St. George Catholic School and Linn High School graduating in 1956. She attended Jefferson Business College in Jefferson City. On May 7, 1960, she was united in marriage to Albert Frank Jaegers at St. George Catholic Church in Linn. Albert preceded her in death on December 20, 1999. Nancy and Albert owned and operated Jaegers Poultry in Linn. Nancy was a member of St. George Catholic Church in Linn, St. Ann's Sodality and the Osage County Historical Society. Nancy enjoyed reading, embroidery, playing cards but her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and friends. Nancy is survived by: a daughter, Holly Neuner and her husband Danny of Rich Fountain; son, Karl Jaegers and his wife Denise of La Monte; six grandchildren, Nathan, Megan and Grace Neuner, Leslie Sebastian and her husband Jeremy, Connor and Christopher Jaegers; two great-grandchildren, Bryce and Drew; two brothers, Jerome Zeilmann of Wright City and Richard Zeilmann and his wife Donna of Bonnots Mill; brother-in-law, Bud Jaegers and his wife Martha of Linn; three sisters-in-law, Betty Jaegers of Linn, Legora Ray of Lenxa, Kansas and Viola Schaefer of Union. In addition to her parents and husband of 39 years, Nancy was preceded in death by a grandson, William Neuner. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 6, 2015, at Morton Chapel in Linn. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, December 7, 2015, at St. George Catholic Church in Linn with Fr. Daniel J. Merz as celebrant. Interment will follow in the St. George Parish Cemetery in Linn. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to St. George Catholic Church.
