Alma A. Lepper, 90, of Jefferson City, Mo., formerly of Eugene, Mo., passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2015, at Jefferson City Nursing and Rehab of Jefferson City, Mo. She was born August 7, 1925, in Mary's Home, Mo., the daughter of the late Frank H. and Rosa (Lueckenhoff) Lepper. Alma attended the Sanning School in Mary's Home and later attended and received her GED from Eugene High School. She worked at Tweedie Footwear in Jefferson City, Mo., until its closure and then worked at McGraw Edison Co. She was a lifelong member of Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church in Mary's Home. She enjoyed crocheting, needlework and took great pride in the art of quilt making. Most family members now enjoy the quilts she made. She was also a great cook and enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by: three brothers, Al B. Lepper of Olean, Mo., Jake (Dorothy) Lepper and Adolph Lepper of Jefferson City, Mo.; and three sisters-in-law; Mary Lepper, Viola Ihler Lepper and Norma Jean Lepper; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: her parents; as well as four brothers, Henry, William, Alfred and Walter Lepper; and three sisters-in-law; Elizabeth, Betty B. and Alice Lepper. Friends will be received from 9:30-11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, August 26, 2015, at Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church in Mary's Home with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Patrick J. Shortt officiating. Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Snows Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be given In Care of the Family. Arrangements are under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, Mo.
