Cathryn Darlene Hunt

Cathryn Darlene Hunt, 74, of Jefferson City, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2015, at Golden Living Center. She was born on April 21, 1941, in Novinger, Missouri, the daughter of Charles Vern and Roxie (Sholley) Brundage, who preceded her in death. She was united in marriage in Kirksville, Missouri on July 10, 1960, to Ted Hunt, who survives of the home. She was a 1958 graduate of Novinger High School. She worked and retired from the Missouri Department of Higher Education. She attended First Assembly of God Church in Jefferson City. Darlene enjoyed traveling and listening to country music. Most of all, she loved her family and treasured the time she spent with them. She is also survived by one son: Kenny (Sherry) Hunt of Jefferson City, two granddaughters: Emily Hunt and Toni (Dustin) Sneller of Jefferson City; one sister: Loyce (Ray) Ford of Green City, Missouri; one brother: Charles Brundage of Green Castle, Missouri; three great-grandchildren: Addilynn, Karleigh and Quentin Sneller; four nieces; two nephews; and numerous great-nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 18, 2015, at Houser-Millard Funeral Chapel. Services will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2015, at Houser-Millard Funeral Chapel with Rev. Lisa Deutseh officiating. Interment will follow in Hawthron Memorial Gardens.
