Herbert Grammer Sr.

Herbert Grammer Sr., 81, of Rocky Mount, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2015, at the University Hospital in Columbia. On March 20, 1954, in Indianapolis, Ind., he was united in marriage to Shirley (Reed) Grammer who survives of the home. In addition to his wife, one son, Rick Grammer, also survives of the home. Herb served in the United States Army for eight years. Per his wishes, his body has been cremated, with full military honors provided. Interment will be held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon.
