Ellen Ann Butler

Ellen Ann Butler, of Kansas City, Mo., 75, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2015. Ellen was born August 2, 1940, in Bonnots Mill, Mo., to Leslie and Dorothy Vogel. She graduated from Helias High School in Jefferson City, Mo., in 1958 and married her high school sweetheart. She began teaching in 1958 and retired in 2007. She is survived by: her husband, Jack Butler; children, Jeff (Robyn) Butler, Chris (Bozhena) Butler and Katie (Dean) Gray; six grandchildren; sisters, Mary Les Vogel and Karen Keeney; many nieces and nephews; and numerous family and friends. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, August 14, and Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 15, both at St. Catherine of Siena, 4101 E. 105th Terrace, Kansas City MO 64137 with burial following in Mt.
