Jan Turner Fabick, age 50 years, of Hermann, Mo., passed away Thursday, July 23, 2015, at Mercy Hospital in Washington, Mo. Jan was born on August 9, 1964, in Jefferson City, Mo., a daughter of Harold D. and Becky (Hord) Turner. Jan grew up in Tebbetts, Mo. and was a 1982 graduate of Jefferson City High School. She started her professional career working for Missouri Community College Association and went on to work in real estate for Coldwell Bankers. A resident of Hermann, Mo. for the past 20 years, Jan left real estate to be a cook at St. George School in Hermann and later owned and operated the Concert Hall and Barrel Bar. She was a member of St. George Catholic Church in Hermann, Mo. and the Hermann Eagles Auxiliary 1328. Jan was a free spirit and always enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Survivors include: two sons, Tyler Beck (wife Susan) and Austin Beck, both of Jefferson City, Mo.; one sister, Jackie Rose (husband Rich) of Holiday Island, Ark.; two brothers, Kent Turner (husband Shane Gasser) of Eureka Springs, Ark. and Sam Turner (wife Kelli) of Montgomery City, Mo.; one granddaughter, Adelyn Beck; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be held at the Tebbetts United Methodist Church in Tebbetts, Mo. from 10:00 until 11:30 a.m., Friday, August 7, 2015. A memorial service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m., Friday, August 7, 2015 at the Tebbetts United Methodist Church with the Reverend Kay Hord officiating. Graveside services and interment will be held at Riverview Cemetery in Tebbetts, Mo. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Jan Fabick Memorial Fund.
