Ralph L. Bradley

Mr. Ralph L. Bradley, age 92 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at Heisinger Bluffs. Ralph was born on February 2, 1922, in Ethel, Mo., the son of Ralph E. and Gladys I. Bradley. He was married on September 7, 1943, in Jefferson City, to Ruth Katherine Mueller, who preceded him in death on February 12, 2009. A resident of the central Missouri area for most of his life, Ralph was a Jefferson City High School graduate and attended Jefferson City Junior College. Ralph proudly served his country during World War II in the United States Navy from 1943 until being honorably discharged in 1947. After serving his country, Ralph began his career in 1951 with Fischer Body Division of General Motors in Willow Springs, Ill., who he worked with for over 25 years retiring in 1976. Ralph was a devoted husband and had a strong faith in God. He loved his home and enjoyed gardening in his free time. Survivors include: one daughter, Barbara Ann Bloese and her husband Kevin of Winfield, Ill. and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife of 65 years, Ruth Bradley; one brother, William B. Bradley; and one sister, Iola Bradley. Visitation will be held at Freeman Mortuary from 9:00 until 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 31, 2014. Graveside services and interment with military honors will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Riverview Cemetery with Chaplain Jim Mueller officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice Compassus, 600 Monroe St., Jefferson City, MO 65101.
