Theresa Manes

Theresa Manes, 84, of Tampa, Fla., formerly of Hudson, Fla., where she lived for 24 years, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2014. She was born in Youngstown, Ohio and lived in Sharon, Pa., Jefferson City, Mo. and Athens, Ga. Theresa was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who enjoyed volunteer work and gardening and had a special love for animals. She is survived by: her loving husband of 62 years, Bob Manes, of Tampa; her three daughters and their families, Shawn Thomason and Tom Thomason, M.D. of Santa Fe, N.M. and their daughter and grandson, Stephanie and Bentley Brittain, Linda Manes and Stephen Fox of Tampa and Patty Wallace and her sons, Ian and Elliott Gaines of Birmingham, Ala.; her sisters, Anne Vianello of Youngstown, Ohio and Mary Ciccone of Sharon, Pa.; and her brother, John Bozicevic, of Wheatland, Pa.; two nephews; and other relatives and friends. A private family service is being held. The family wishes to thank her caregivers of the past year at Brighton Gardens for their loving care and devotion.
