Sharon Lee (Vogel) Borron, 79, of Westphalia, passed away Friday, December 26, 2014, peacefully at her home. She was born February 5, 1935 in Bevier, Mo., the daughter of Tony Carl and Isabell I. (Tarter) Vogel, who preceded her in death. She was united in marriage to Carol E. Borron on June 22, 1968, who preceded her in death on March 4, 2006. She was a 1953 graduate of Brookfield High School. She worked at McGraw Edison, Scholastic, and retired from Cheeseborough Ponds (Unilever). Sharon was a member of Hwy. 54 Church of Christ where she was very active in the ladies group. She collected angels, birds and beer steins. She loved fishing, taking pictures, her dogs and most of all, spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by one sister: Shirley Quick of Overland Park, Kansas; one son: David G. Ross of Kansas City; one daughter: Sharon Kaye (Lynn) Stacy of Westphalia; one step-daughter: Jody (Jeff) Gross of Gower, Missouri; one step-son: Saundor Ashton of Kansas City, Missouri; seven grandchildren: Adam Berhorst, Caitlin Ross, Jessica Knight, Joshua Knight, Kalliope Ashton, Kallandra Ashton, and Kalista Ashton; and four great- grandchildren: Chase Berhorst, Jayden Knight, Azara Knight and Patrick Deckman. She was preceded in death by one granddaughter: Angela Kaye Berhorst. Family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at Houser Millard Funeral Chapel. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at Houser-Millard Funeral Chapel with Howard Scott and Rick Yoder and officiating. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
