Dorothy Christine Ihler, 85, of Jefferson City, Missouri, went to be with her Lord, Monday, September 16, 2013, at Capital Region Medical Center. She was born October 1, 1927, in Westphalia, Missouri, the daughter of the late Martin and Anna (Kloeppel) Weber. On November 22, 1997, she was united in marriage to Joe M. Ihler, he survives at the home. Dorothy attended St. Joseph Grade School and Westphalia High School. She was employed with Chesebrough Ponds for over 25 years. She was a member of St. Martins Catholic Church and the Over 50 Club. Dorothy enjoyed playing bingo, cards, dominoes and going to the boat. She loved to fish, but most of all loved spending time with her family. Along with her husband Joe she is survived by three children: Richard Neuner (Cathy) Kingston, New York, Sharon Lock (Harold) of Linn and Ron Neuner (Vicky Wegman) Rich Fountain; five step-children: Ronald Ihler (Jennifer) of Kingdom City, Julie Chambers (Burky) of Jefferson City, Kathy McMahan (Mel) of Denver Colorado, Thomas Ihler of Jefferson City and Jenine Schollmeyer of Jefferson City; one brother: Stephen "Tip" Weber (Mary Louise) of Westphalia; one sister: Shirley Lock (Carl) of Linn; four grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and three step great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one grandchild: Kim Lynn and one step-grandchild: Amber. Friends will be received from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, September, 23, 2013, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home, where a prayer service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 24, 2013, at the St. Martin Catholic Church with Father Ed Schmidt and Father James Finder officiating. Interment will follow in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Kim Lynn Children's Educational Fund.
