Beryl Ann (Wilson) Whittle, age 83, of Iberia, passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2013, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Iberia on March 24, 1930, daughter of the late James Gabriel and Woxie Cleone (Smith) Wilson. On January 17, 1948, in Brumley, Beryl married Harold Eugene "Gene" Whittle, who preceded her in death on October 13, 2010. Beryl was baptized at Madden Ford and became a long time member of Pleasant Hill Christian Church. She attended and was actively involved in the Iberia First Christian Church. Beryl was a member of the Iberia Community Club. She enjoyed having coffee with her special friends and loved to socialize with everyone. She cherished family gatherings and took pride in being a homemaker. She was loved and admired by her family and all who knew her. She is survived by four children: Michael Whittle and wife Beth of Iberia, Deborah Ferguson and husband Ron of Lake Ozark, Kerry Whittle and wife Lolly of Camdenton, and Sandra Wilson and husband Jim of Eldon; 15 grandchildren: Tamra Whittle (Dean Sharp), Shawn Whittle (Jessica), Joseph Whittle, Susan Hensley (Evan), Craig Whittle (Jennifer), Justin Whittle (Nicole), Joshua Ferguson (Julie), Amy Michels (Matt), Jason Whittle (Natalie), Shannon Whittle (Jay Miller), Kristen West (CO), Kelly Pemberton (Gary), Adam Wilson (Maggie), Joel Wilson (Laura), and Regan Wilson (Amanda Hanson); 29 great-grandchildren: Keegan Steen, Klayton Whittle, Elliot Whittle, Traygen Whittle, Trytten Whittle, Turner Whittle, Molly Hensley, Lillian Hensley, Aydan Hensley, Nicholas Whittle, Jack Ferguson, Sophia Ferguson, Claire Whittle, Olivia Whittle, Annie Whittle, Mia Whittle, Garrett Whittle, Judah Whittle, Tyler Martin, Matthew Martin, Kort Martin, Arianna West, Makaylin West, Shaylea Pemberton, Isaac Pemberton, Nolan Pemberton, Grace Wilson, Norah Wilson, Archer Wilson; three sisters-in-law: Lois Brown of Marshalltown, Iowa, Shirley Whittle of Brumley, and Delores Whittle of Wapato, Wash.; one brother-in-law, Jerome Jacobs of Jefferson City; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Beulah Kinnell, Evelyn Funke, and Juanita Norman; and three brothers, Dorsey Wilson, Oscar Wilson and James Wilson. Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, September 25, 2013, at First Christian Church in Iberia. Pastor Stan Way will officiate. Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Iberia. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 24, 2013, at the First Christian Church. Memorial contributions are suggested to Pleasant Hill Cemetery or Beryl Whittle Memorial Fund.
