Richard B. Arthur

Richard "Rich" B. Arthur, 78, of Jefferson City, died on Monday, October 7, 2013, at St. Mary's Health Center in Jefferson City. He was born on April 19, 1935, in Rolla, Missouri, the son of the late John Richard and Treal (Breuer) Arthur. Richard was a United States Army Veteran serving from September 9, 1953 until September 8, 1961. Richard retired from the St. Louis Police Department in 1988 after 30 years of service. Richard enjoyed sharing his life with his longtime companion, Mary E. Pasco. He found great joy in fishing, traveling, and spending time with this lifelong friends and classmates. Survivors include one son: John Richard Arthur (Rebecca) of Jefferson City; one daughter: Patricia Ann Feagans of Jefferson City; two sisters: Phyllis Arthur of Jefferson City, and Janette Barrons (Joseph) of Pensacola, Florida.
