Linda Susan Becker

Linda Susan Becker, age 62 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., died Friday, November 8, 2013, at the Villa Marie Nursing Center. Linda was born March 1, 1951, the daughter of Alan A. and Carolyn Marr Becker. Linda had been a resident of Villa Marie Skilled Nursing Center since February, 1983 after sustaining severe injuries in a 1978 automobile accident in the state of Florida. She was a 1969 graduate of Jefferson City High School and attended Duke University and Culver Stockton College. Linda was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Jefferson City. Survivors include: her mother, Carolyn Becker of Jefferson City, Mo.; one sister, Kathy Loveless and her husband Dr. Gordon Loveless of Bedford, N.H.; one niece, Amy Loveless and her husband Patrick Imam; and one nephew, Benjamin Loveless. She was preceded in death by her father, Alan A. Becker, in 2008. Visitation will be at the First Presbyterian Church from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 14, 2013. A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 14, 2013, at the First Presbyterian Church with the Reverend Dr. Robert Erickson and the Reverend Dr. David Henry officiating. Interment will be at Riverview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the First Presbyterian Church or Hospice Compassus.
