L. Christine Hatfield

L. Christine Hatfield, 82, of California, passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2013, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City. She was born on August 10, 1930 in Mississippi. She was married on November 8, 1980, in California, to Lawrence Hatfield, who preceded her in death on January 4, 1999. She worked in home nursing and was a member of Main Street Baptist Church. She enjoyed activities at the nursing home, bingo, handwork and her family and grandkids. She is survived by one step-son, Larry Hatfield of Atlanta, Ga.; two step-daughters, Pat Baker of California, and Billie Bolin and husband Dean of Blue Springs; four grandchildren, Chris and Kyle Baker, Steven and Jeff Bolin; 12 great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Shelia and Robin McCarty and their kids Brian, Eric and Michelle. She was preceded in death by several siblings. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 4, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California. Burial will be in Hickman Cemetery in Clarksburg. Officiating will be Rev. Ken Mathes, assisted by Rev. Roy Barnard. Visitation will also be held on Monday, March 4, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
