Mary Elizabeth Robinson

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Robinson, age 101 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., passed away Sunday, July 14, 2013, at Jefferson City Manor Care Center. She was born on March 10, 1912, in Ashland, Mo., a daughter of Charles and Lydia Koffke Knatcal. She was married in 1934, to Albert Earl Robinson, who preceded her in death. A lifelong resident of the central Missouri area, Mary attended school in Hartsburg. She worked for over 30 years at the International Shoe Factory, and after the shoe factory closed, she became a City Night Court Clerk for the City of Jefferson. She later retired from the Department of Revenue working in the Motor Vehicle Division. Mary was an avid quilter and loved spending time with her friends and family. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Donna S. Robinson, and many nephews, nieces, and cousins. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Albert; one son, Kenneth L. Robinson; a brother, Clarence Knatcal; and a sister, Ida Mae Cornwell. Graveside services and interment will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 18, 2013, in the Mausoleum of Hawthorn Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Lewis Curtis officiating.
