Floyd Joseph Wachter

Floyd Joseph "Bud" Wachter, 91, of Jefferson City, went to be with the Lord and the love of his life, "Kitty", on Saturday, January 5, 2013. Alot of people know him from Bud Wachter Shell, which he ran for over 25 years on Missouri Blvd. He was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Jefferson City. He is survived by two daughters, Peggy (Forrest) Nye and Sharon Salzwedel; three grandchildren, Buffy (Jeff) Bax, Stacy (Brian) Kadow, and Shawn Nye; great-grandchildren, Abigail, Ireland, Eric, Paige (Dustin), Austin, and Chloe; and one great-great-grandson, Remington. He is also survived by two sisters, Hilda Lauf and Helen Siebenick; and three sisters-in-law, Jane Bess, Sally Barnhouse and Genevieve Weiss. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kathy Nye, and a sister, Margie Hammond. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m., Saturday, January 12, 2013, at Cornerstone Baptist Church with Rev.
