Janet Marie McClenahan

Janet Marie McClenahan, 72, of Jefferson City, passed to her eternal reward on Thursday, December 27, 2012, at her home. She was born in St. Louis, the daughter of Adolph and Rosella (Murawski) Oberlohr. She was a 1959 graduate of St. John the Baptist Catholic High School in St. Louis. Those who knew Janet loved her spirit, her strength to overcome life's pitfalls, her love of family and family traditions, and above all, her will to finish the race well in her walk with the Lord. She is survived by four children, all graduates of St John's: Lisa Reinkemeyer and husband Robert of Syracuse, Barbara McClenahan of St. Louis, Thomas McClenahan and wife Kandi of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Steven McClenahan and wife Stacy of St. Louis; one brother, John Oberlohr of St. Louis, and 12 grandchildren: Matt, Brandon, Dave, Brianna, Britani, Andrew, Jason, Megan, Joe, Steve, Peter and Paul. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Andrew Church, Tipton, on Friday, January 11 at 7 p.m. Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, January 12, from 2-4 p.m. at Kutis Affton Funeral Home. Wake and private burial to follow.
