Gary Tate Holzhauser

Gary Tate Holzhauser, 72, of Tebbetts, passed away Saturday, January 5, 2013, at Capital Regional Medical Center. He was born September 30, 1940, in Jefferson City, the son of the late Howard Holzhauser and the late Opal (Tate) Holzhauser. On December 2, 1960, Gary was united in marriage to Donna Sue (Brooks) Holzhauser, who survives his passing at the home. Gary was a member of the Tebbetts Methodist Church and the Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed golf, hunting, fishing, and listening to music. In addition to his wife, Gary will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one son, Derek Holzhauser of Tebbetts; and one sister, Joyce Underwood and husband Larry of New Bloomfield. In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by one son, Gary "Brooks" Holzhauser; and one brother, Howard L. Holzhauser. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 10, 2013, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Pastor Pati Tynes and David Coleman officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 9, 2013, also at Maupin Funeral Home with Masonic Service to follow at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be held at Portland Cemetery.
