Edgar H. Robinett

Edgar "Jr." H. Robinett, age 89, of Tebbetts, formerly of Brumley, passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2013, at St. Mary's Health Center in Jefferson City. He was born in Brumley on February 14, 1924, son of the late Herman and Cynthia (Rodden) Robinett. On February 10, 1943, in Camdenton, Edgar married Lucille Rauh Malmberg, who preceded him in death on February 6, 1995. Edgar served in the United States Army during World War II. After the war he worked as a ranch foreman at White Swan in the Yakima Valley Washington State. He later moved to Tebbetts, Missouri where he farmed for 59 years. He lived a full and happy life doing exactly what he loved to do, farm. He had five beautiful children to complete his life with the love of his life of 52 years, Lucille. He is survived by two sons, Everett "Bud" Robinett and wife Pat of Kansas City, Kansas, and Edward Robinett of Tebbetts; two daughters, Deloris Moss and husband John and Susan Klick, both of Jefferson City; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one brother, Dr. Wade Robinett of Kansas City; and one sister, Ellen Heir of Patterson, Washington. He was also preceded in death by one son, Edgar Dewane Robinett, and eight brothers and sisters. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, February 24, at Debo Funeral Home in Holts Summit. A second visitation will be held on Monday, February 25, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia from 9 to 11 a.m., with services immediately following at 11 a.m. Rev. Greg McClain will officiate. Interment with military honors will be in Robinett Cemetery near Brumley. Memorial contributions may be made to Robinett Cemetery.
