Angel Bernice Smith, 35, of Holts Summit, Mo., passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2012, at the Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City. She was born on December 23, 1976, in Westminster, Calif., the daughter of Larry Paul Smith and Maria Annette Barnoske Smith both of whom survive in Holts Summit, Mo. Angel graduated from Russellville High School, and worked for the Rehabilitation Services for the Blind, she was a Food Service worker at the Missouri State Capitol and a stay at home mom. She was a Cub Scout assistant leader and enjoyed attending all of the kids' activities such as numerous football, baseball and basketball games. She is survived by her boyfriend, Casey Wilbers of Holts Summit; one son, Austin Paul Manley; one daughter, Allison Rose Marie Wilbers; one brother, Steven Smith of Holts Summit; paternal grandma, Genevieve Margaret Smith of Lohman; maternal grandpas, James Ray Holder of McGirk and Frederick Charles Barnoske and wife Lisa of Ft. Wayne, Ind. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Daisy Cheyenne Lee Manley; maternal grandmother, Carolyn Lee Holder and paternal grandfather Charles Lewis Smith Sr. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 6, 2012, at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services. Burial will be at the Centertown Cemetery. Officiating will be Mike Hearst. Visitation will be Friday, October 5, 2012, from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Education Fund for Austin and Allison or Camp Hickory Hill C/O Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, 100 S. Oak St. California, MO 65018.
