Rosalie Williams, age 83, of the Enon community, near Russellville, died Monday night, June 18, 2012, at Eldon Healthcare. She was born March 10, 1929, in Enon, a daughter of Claud and Mary Ann Shikles Williams, who preceded her in death. Rosalie worked at Weber Shoe Factory in Tipton for several years, before opening Rosalie's Salon in Enon. She was the local beautician for the Enon and Russellville communities, cutting hair until this past year. She was also the hairdresser for many nursing homes, traveling to Eldon, Osage Beach and the Jefferson Manor in Jefferson City. She was a lifelong, faithful and active member of the Enon Baptist Church. Rosalie truly enjoyed visiting the local nursing homes, but most of all, she loved the time she spent with her family. Survivors include her sister Wanda Farris, Enon; nephew and nieces, Ron (Jeanna) Farris, St. Louis; Cheryl (Gary) West, Russellville; Judy (Joe) Lee, Melbourne, Florida and Karen (Jim) O'Farrell, Wentzville; great nieces and nephews, Mark (Dianna) Farris, Amanda Farris, Jennifer (Scott) Call, Scott (Shanna) West, Julie West, Marlisa (Tony) Marlow, Jimmy Lee and Jessica Lee, and ten great-great nieces and nephews. Her brother-in-law, Virgle Farris died Wednesday, June 20, 2012. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 23, at the Enon Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Digby officiating. Interment will be in the Enloe Cemetery west of Russellville. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday, June 22, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Russellville.
