Jane Irene Scott, of California, formerly of Moberly, died on Monday, January 16, 2012, at the Moniteau Care Center, California. She was born on March 3, 1920, in California, the daughter of Charles Henry Jr. and Margaret (Harris) Kratzer, both of whom preceded her in death. She was married in 1939, in St. Louis, to Joseph W. Scott who survives. She is a 1937 graduate of Jamestown High School. She is a lifelong member of the Trinity Methodist Church, Moberly. During her working, she worked at JCPenney, Moberly, in the 1960s then worked for Mart Drug Store, Moberly, in the 1970s. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Nancy Scott, California; one daughter and son-in-law, Judi and Roger Morris, Columbia; one brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Joan Kratzer, Savanna, Ga.; one nephew, Jimmy Kratzer, Savanna, Ga.; five grandchildren, Ryan Morris, St. Louis, Whitney Keller, Columbia, Courtney Brazell, St. Louis, Todd Scott, Centertown, and Andy Scott, Jefferson City; two great-grandchildren, Tyler Scott, California and Tatiana Morris. Graveside services will be held on Friday, January 20, 2012, at 11:00 a.m., in the Oakland Cemetery, Moberly, with Rev. Steve Jones officiating. Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimerís Association, c/o Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, 100 S. Oak, California, MO 65018.
