Loretta K. Borgmeyer-Pfautsch, 87, of Jefferson City, died Thursday, December 27, 2012, at University Hospital in Columbia. She was born February 2, 1925, in Jefferson City, Missouri, a daughter of the late Emil F. and Catherine M. (Hettinger) Wachter. On July 31, 1943, Loretta was united in marriage to William B. Borgmeyer, who preceded her in death on May 10, 1982. She was later united in marriage to Robert Pfautsch, who preceded her in death on April 3, 2006. . Loretta was a 1943 graduate of St. Peter High School. She was employed at Sav-Mor grocery store and the Missouri State Division of Insurance. She most recently resided at Summit Villa in Holts Summit. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella, St. Peter's Ladies Altar Sodality, St. Mary's Health Center Auxiliary, Roscoe Enloe American Legion Auxiliary, and various card clubs. Loretta loved playing card games and visiting with family and friends. She is survived by two daughters: Pat Schwartz and her husband Steve of Columbia, Vicki Brenneke and her husband Doug of Holts Summit; four sons: Bill Borgmeyer and his wife Claudia of Jefferson City, Richard Borgmeyer of Camdenton, Stan Borgmeyer and his wife Linda of Columbia, Les Borgmeyer and his wife Ann of Columbia; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers; Paul J. Wachter, Emil F. Wachter Jr., and Raymond (Dutch) Wachter. Friends will be received from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, December 30, 2012, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home in Jefferson City. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 31, 2012, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Jefferson City with Father Austin Okoli officiating. Burial will follow in the Resurrection Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Peter Catholic Church. Arrangements are under the direction of HOUSER-MILLARD Funeral Directors, 2613 W.
