Mr. Franklin B. "Pete" Walz, age 78 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., died Thursday, August 30, 2012, at the Capital Region Medical Center. Visitation will be at Freeman Mortuary from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 4, 2012. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 5, 2012, in the Freeman Chapel with Pastor Michael Hearst officiating. Graveside services and interment with military honors will be conducted at Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.
