Lloyd S. Huff

Lloyd S. Huff, 72, of Jefferson City, passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at University Hospital in Columbia. He was born December 14, 1939, in Clarksburg, Mo., the son of James E. and Lovie Irene (Marriot) Huff. He was united in marriage to Braxie Stafford on May 5, 1967, in Mokane, Mo. She survives at their home. Lloyd served in the Missouri National Guard. He worked as an estimator for Jefferson Asphalt for forty years. He found great enjoyment in spending time with his family and watching Missouri Tiger Basketball. Along with his wife of 45 years, Lloyd will be missed by his son, Michael S. Huff and his wife Lisa Marie of Jefferson City; brother, James M. Huff and wife Joyce of Tipton; sisters, Nadine Lloyd and Daphyne Hall, both of Jefferson City; two grandsons, Joshua and Adam Huff; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Paula Stienmetz; and three brothers, Perry, Thorton, and Birtle Huff. Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday, August 4, 2012, at Debo Funeral Home in Holts Summit. Interment will follow at Summit Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
