Mr. Albert L. "Bud" Hall, age 79 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., died Friday, April 27, 2012, at the University Hospital in Columbia, Mo. Bud was born July 10, 1932, in Montgomery County, Mo., the son of Alvin and Iva Warfield Hall. He was married to Patsy Cochran who preceded him in death. On July 19, 2001, in Jefferson City, Mo., he married Bonita Erbrecht. A lifelong resident of the Central Missouri area, Bud attended Jefferson City Public Schools. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Bud was employed as a typesetter with several newspapers and later as a Corrections Officer at the Missouri State Penitentiary. Survivors include: his wife, Bonita Hall; one son, James Hall of Columbia, Mo.; one daughter, Maribeth Dominique of Columbia, Mo.; one step-daughter, Tara Snellen and her husband Jason of Jefferson City, Mo.; one sister, Dolly Baker and her husband Don of Albuquerque, New Mexico; seven grandchildren, Joseph Dominique, Henry Howell, Patrick Hall, Michael Hall, Blake Snellen, Jake Snellen and Brock Snellen. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be at Freeman Mortuary from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, 2012. A memorial service with military honors will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday in the Freeman Chapel with the Reverend Lyle Witcher officiating.
