Henry H. Davis, age 52, of Freeburg, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2011, at his residence with his family by his side. He was born October 8, 1958, in Vienna, a son of George Johnson Davis Sr. and Juanita Rosie Ellen (Crum) Davis. He was united in marriage on July 8, 1978, at Argyle, to Janette Mary Deeken. He attended the Holy Family Catholic Church, Freeburg. Henry was a quality control inspector for nuclear power plants and worked in construction. He was a member of the Masonic Order and the National Rifle Association. Henry enjoyed being on the river at his cabin and most of all spending time with family and friends. Those left to mourn the passing of Henry include: his wife, Janette Davis, Freeburg; two sons, Ryan Patrick Davis, Argyle, and Colby John Henry Davis, Freeburg; one daughter, Alisha Renee Rehagen and her husband Jason, Westphalia; four brothers, George Davis Jr., Vienna, Danny Davis, New Bloomfield, Darrell Davis, Brinktown, and William Davis, Hilliand, Ohio; two sisters, LaDonna Heck, Belle, and Rowena Uptergrove, Vienna; two grandchildren, Lydia Rehagen, his "Sweet Pea", and Jase Rehagen, his "Little Man"; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father on January 27, 2010, and his mother on October 8, 1958. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 2, 2011, in the Holy Family Catholic Church, Freeburg, with Rev. Philip Niekamp officiating. Interment will be in the St. Aloysius Catholic Cemetery, Argyle. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m., Wednesday, June 1, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. in the Vienna Chapel of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Homes, and 10-11 a.m., Thursday, June 2, in the Holy Family Catholic Church, Freeburg. Memorials are suggested to the Holy Family School, Freeburg, or the Hospices Compassus, Jefferson City.
