Mary Harmon

Mary Lee Harmon, 70, of Hartsburg, passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2010, at her home. Mary Lee was born August 23, 1939, in Ashland, the daughter of Elmo and Alma Calvin Sapp. She married Dennis Lee Harmon September 18, 1961, in Jefferson City and he preceded her in death. She retired from Southern Boone County Schools where she worked as a cook. Mary Lee was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Hartsburg. Survivors include: two daughters, Leta Bax of Hartsburg, DeLanne Murphy and husband, Pat of California, Mo.; two brothers, Edward Dale Sapp of Columbia, Glen Elmo Sapp and wife Lois of Hartsburg; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Steven Rodgers and one brother, Clarence Robert Sapp. Memorial services will be held at Robinson Funeral Home June 2, 2010, at 1:00 p.m. with visitation from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Harmon Family.
