Una Bragg

Una Merle Bragg, 84, of Jefferson City, passed away Monday, May 3, 2010, at the Villa Marie Skilled Nursing Facility. She was born July 8, 1925, in Conesville, Iowa, the daughter of the late Forrest Bebb and Dorothy Howisen. She was married in 1942 to Elmer Sheely, who preceded her in death. She was married in 1963, to Marvin Walker, who preceded her in death. In 1968 she married Clifford Bragg, who preceded her in death. Una was raised in Muscatine, Iowa. She worked as a Certified Nurses Aid and retired as a Licensed Beautician. She was a member of Bibleway Church of Jefferson City. She enjoyed her church, her family, holidays, playing the piano and barbecues. In recent years, she enjoyed spending time at the Lake Ozarks, boating and traveling. Una will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her children: Ron Sheely (Linda Scrivner) of Jefferson City; Larry Sheely (wife Diane) of Lafayette, Indiana; Don Walker (wife Karen) of Fulton; Stella Williams of Jefferson City; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; a brother: Lee Bebb of Muscatine, Iowa; and a sister: Ruby McPike of Jacksonville, Arkansas. She was also preceded in death by two daughters: Janice Sheely and Lynn Walker; one son: Harold Sheely; and one brother: Robert Howisen. Friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 8, 2010, at the Bibleway Church of Jefferson City, 900 Monroe Street, where Funeral Services will follow at 12:00 p.m., with Bishop Barkley E. Bailey and Elder Harry Kennedy officiating. Entombment will follow in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
