Philip Wendell Norton

Philip Wendell Norton, 63, of Holts Summit, passed away Monday, July 12, 2021, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City. He was born October 7, 1957, in Boston, Mass., a son of the late Philip and Phyllis Norton. He was united in marriage on January 1, 2014, to Connie Stephens who survives at their home. Philip loved his dogs, and riding motorcycles, but above all enjoyed spending time with his family. He and Connie are members of Union Hill Baptist Church in Holts Summit, Missouri. He was the co-owner of Eric & Phil's Home Improvement and drove an over-the-road truck for over 20 years. Philip is survived by his wife: Connie; children: Nicole Richards (Eric) of Center Barnstead, N.H., Eric Carignan of Center Barnstead, N.H., Kayla Varney (Michael) of Camdenton, Mo.; grandchildren: Kyle Richard, Makayla Richard, Kelsi Richard, Ayden Carignan, Ashton Varney; and a host of other relatives and friends who will deeply miss him. A Celebration of life was conducted Saturday, July 17, 2021, at Union Hill Baptist Church with Bro. Frank Whitney officiating. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family. Arrangements were under the direction of TYLER M. WOODS FUNERAL DIRECTOR, 611 E. Capitol Ave., Jefferson City, Mo.
