Leonard Martin Gerloff, 59, of Chamois, died Saturday, July 24, 2021. He was born October 15, 1961, in Leavenworth, Kansas, a son of Leo George and Patricia Alice (McKague) Gerloff Sr. He was a 1980 graduate of Chamois High School. On October 15, 1997, Leonard was united in marriage to Pauline Julie Lietzow, who died on July 24, 2021. He worked for ABB in Jefferson City until his health forced his retirement. Leonard was a member of the Mint Hill Shooters; enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, mushroom hunting and making sure everyone had a place to hunt; and sitting on the second bar stool at the local bar. Above all, he loved his time spent with his family, especially his grandbabies. Survivors include his mother: Patricia Gerloff; step-children: Allen Starke (Sabrina), Yvonne "Jo" Reed (Debra); three brothers: Leo George Gerloff Jr. (Debby), Leon Gerloff (Debbie), Bill Gerloff (April); and three sisters: Debra Hunter (Ernie), Dottie McCubbin (Denny) and Tammy Baker (Jim). He was preceded in death by his father, Leo George Gerloff Sr. Friends will be received from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, August 1, 2021, at the Chamois Community Center. Graveside services will follow at 6:00 p.m. Sunday at the Mint Hill Cemetery, followed by a Celebration of Life at the Gerloff Family River Lot, next to the Chamois city park, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of MILLARD FAMILY CHAPELS, Second and Market Street, Chamois, MO 65024.
