Christopher "Chris" James Enke

Christopher "Chris" James Enke, 53, of Jefferson City, Mo., formerly of Carey, passed away Tuesday April 6, 2021, at SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City, Missouri. Chris was born April 20, 1967, in San Diego, Calif. Survivors include his mother, Michelle (Nick) Herndon; significant other, Charlotte Drinkard; one son, C.J. (Miranda) Enke; one step-son, Andrew Joseph; five daughters, Rachel (Jay Ward) Enke, Sarah (Barry) Keith, Heather (Josiah) Endsley, Samantha (Shawn Coles) Enke and Sidney Enke; 13 grandchildren; a brother, Richard Enke; and sister, Kelly Nabors. Chris was preceded in death by his father, Kevin Enke; grandparents, Richard and Ann Milano; and one grandson, Parker Bosley. A celebration of life will be held on April 17, in Carey, Ohio. Cremation was performed by Windmill Ridge Funeral Service in California, Missouri.
