Harold G. Goedde, age 75, of Ballwin, Mo., passed away July 26, 2020, in Ballwin Mo. Harold was born in Waterborro, S.C. on November 26, 1944, son of George and Elizabeth (Betty Bauer) Goedde, who preceded him in death. His father was stationed in South Carolina while serving in the U.S. Army. The family moved back to Jefferson City when Harold was one year old. Harold served his country honorably in the United States Army from 1967-1969, stationed in South Korea. He received his Masters Degree from Oklahoma University and received his Doctorate degree in Business Administration from the University of Kentucky. He taught college in North Carolina, Maryland, New York and Lincoln University in Jefferson City. He lived the majority of his later years in Albany, N.Y., with recently moving to Ballwin, Mo. to be closer to his family and friends. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinal baseball fan and enjoyed college basketball, live music concerts and was in a bowling league wherever he lived. He continued to process tax returns for clients up to the time of his death. Harold never married, his survivors include sisters, Charlotte Graf of Ballwin, Mo., Grace Abbott (Jerry) of Jefferson City, Mo., and a sister-in-law, Sue Goedde of Jefferson City, Mo. He is also survived by three nieces and two nephews, two great-nephews, one great-niece, one step-nephew, two great-step-nieces, one maternal uncle, and many cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Goedde. A memorial Catholic Mass will be held at a later date. Harold will be laid to rest at Jefferson Barracks Cemetery in St Louis. Arrangements provided by Schrader Funeral Home, Ballwin, Mo.
