RUSSELLVILLE - The Russellville junior high A team defeated the Thomas Jefferson seventh-grade team 40-23 on Tuesday in girls basketball action.
Hallee Stewart and Courtney Edwards scored 10 points each to lead Russellville (10-0).
Natyiah Ewing led the Lady Patriots (8-1) with 13 points.
Russellville won the B game 20-19, led by Jenna Schulte's 19 points.
Karissa Driver scored 12 points for Thomas Jefferson, which ends its season at 5-4.
Russellville's B team is 3-2.
