Prep Volleyball: Jefferson City 3, School of the Osage 0

OSAGE BEACH - The Jefferson City Lady Jays advanced to their third straight district championship match following Saturday's 25-8, 25-17, 25-19 semifinal win against the School of the Osage Lady Indians in the Class 4 District 10 Tournament.

Claire Stegeman led the Lady Jays with 10 kills, while Hannah Linthacum had eight kills and Maddie Mitchell added six. Linthacum had six total blocks in the win.

Mitchell posted a double-double of 15 assists and 14 digs, while Abby Blake tallied a team-high 22 digs. Hannah Vogt chipped in 12 assists and matched Mitchell with two aces.

Osage, which had a seven-match unbeaten streak entering Saturday, finishes its season with a 10-18-1 record.

Jefferson City (17-14-2), the No. 1 seed, will face second-seeded Bolivar (14-13-4) at 7 p.m. Tuesday for the title match. The Lady Liberators topped No. 3 Warrensburg 19-25, 25-22, 25-22, 27-25 in Saturday's other semifinal match.
