HANNIBAL — The New Bloomfield Lady Wildcats and California Lady Pintos both advanced two players to next week's Class 1 state golf tournament Tuesday.

Competing in the District 1 Tournament at Norwoods Golf Club, Sylvia Moss of New Bloomfield finished fourth in the individual standings with a 94, while Dixie Moss of the Lady Wildcats was ninth with a 98.

California teammates Alayna Butts and Lillian Eichelberger tied for the final state qualifying spots with 105s.

California finished fifth as a team with a 437.

Ellyana Clause shot a 113 for the Lady Pintos, while Madison McCord had a 114 and Kaitlyn Schlup finished with a 118.

New Bloomfield tied for sixth among the nine teams that posted a score with a 439.

Jillian Pry finished with a 122 for the Lady wildcats, while Logann Bryan had a 125 and Caeli Lawrence carded a 128.
