OZARK - The Capital City Cavaliers continued their 11-game road trip to begin the season Tuesday with a 78-66 loss to the Ozark Tigers.
Ozark, which is coming off a 19-win season, trailed 19-12 after one quarter, but the Tigers outscored the Cavaliers 28-13 in the second quarter to lead 40-32 at the break.
Ozark pushed its lead to 60-45 by the end of the third quarter.
Corde Brown scored a team-high 21 points for the Cavaliers, while Robert Gray finished with 12 points.
Capital City (1-1) is the No. 6 seed in next week's Sullivan Bank-It Championship. The Cavaliers will play third-seeded Gateway Legacy in the first round at 7 p.m. next Monday.
Ozark won the JV game 71-66 and the freshman game 63-45.
