The Calvary Lutheran Lions opened their season with a 69-42 home win Tuesday night against the New Bloomfield Wildcats.

Kyle Hagemeyer had 29 points for the Lions. Kwesi Hall added 20 points, three assists, and five steals. Jonathan Lieb had three points, four rebounds, and 10 assists while Alex Proctor had nine points and three assists.

Calvary Lutheran (1-0) will host Rolla HomeSchool next Tuesday.

New Bloomfield (0-2) is the No. 7 seed in next week's Tipton Tournament. The Wildcats open against second-seeded Vienna at 8:30 p.m. next Tuesday.
