EUGENE — The Eugene Lady Eagles defeated the Iberia Lady Rangers 43-38 on Monday for their first win of the season.

Olivia Angerer led the Lady Eagles with 27 points, adding six rebounds and three steals. Carianne Peterson chipped in seven points.

Eugene (1-1) is the No. 4 seed in next week's Eugene Tournament. The Lady Eagles will open pool play against fifth-seeded Linn at 6:30 p.m. next Tuesday.
