Boys Basketball: Blair Oaks 82, Hallsville 51

HALLSVILLE - The Blair Oaks Falcons improved to 2-0 in Tri-County Conference play Tuesday, routing the Hallsville Indians 83-51.

Quinn Kusgen scored 30 points to lead the Falcons and Luke Northweather scored 29, as the Indians allowed a season-high in points by an opponent.

Blair Oaks led 18-11 after the first quarter before outscoring Hallsville 28-12 in the second quarter to take a 46-23 halftime lead. The Falcons continued to lead 66-38 after three quarters.

The Indians have lost twice to Blair Oaks this season, the other a 72-47 decision in the semifinals of December's Tri-County Conference Tournament in Wardsville.

Blair Oaks (9-2, 2-0 Tri-County) hosts Versailles on Friday.

The Falcons also won the JV game, 64-44, to move to 4-3 this season. Chase Schnieders had 18 points in the win.
