RUSSELLVILLE - The Fatima Lady Comets defeated the Russellville Lady Indians 66-36 in Show-Me Conference action Saturday.
Fatima led 16-9 at the end of the first quarter before a 19-point second quarter increased the margin to 35-20 at halftime. The Lady Comets kept rolling in the third quarter and led 52-31 after three quarters.
Lauren Brandt led Fatima (18-5, 5-1 Show-Me) with 21 points.
Fatima, the No. 1 seed in the Class 4 District 9 Tournament, will host either No. 4 seed Owensville or No. 5 seed Salem on Wednesday, March 3, in the district semifinals.
Russellville (12-9, 4-4 Show-Me), the No. 2 seed in the Class 3 District 8 Tournament, will host either No. 3 seed Linn or No. 6 seed Belle on Wednesday in the district semifinals.
