Blair Oaks goes on road, sweep DH from Fulton

FULTON - The Blair Oaks Falcons bounced back Tuesday night, sweeping a doubleheader against the Fulton Hornets by the scores of 21-1 and 8-1.

Ian Nolph led the offensive attack in Game 1, going 3-for-3 with three RBI and three runs scored.

Lane Libbert went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI for the Falcons, while Devin Koelling was 1-for-2 with a pair of stolen bases.

Gavin Wekenborg was the winning pitcher for Blair Oaks, allowing one run in three innings of work.

Cadon Garber took the win in Game 2, going two innings in relief without allowing an earned run.

Cole Jungmeyer was 1-for-1 with a run scored, an RBI and a stolen base. Drew Byrd also drew a bases-loaded walk and scored two runs.

Blair Oaks will host the Jefferson City Jays for a doubleheader at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Falcon Athletic Complex.
